ABOUT US
Our dive centre is British and Malaysian owned and we have a charismatic, international team fluent in Malay, English, Spanish, French, and Swedish.
With extensive experience in dive environments around the globe, we are known for our patience, friendliness, and dedication to providing a personalised service to meet the needs of each student and fun diver. Matahari Divers is our home and scuba is our passion and we invite you to experience a piece of the Matahari family on your holiday.
We cater to solo travellers, groups of friends and families and want you to become part of our own! We host family dinners most weeks and are happy to look after the little ones if parents want to dive together. If you’re on a solo adventure you won’t feel like it for long and if you’re coming with your friends, be prepared to make a whole lot more!
INSTRUCTORS
Our instructors are fully certified and insured with PADI, with years of experience, they’re experts in diver safety, marine life, and guiding divers of all levels. Whether you’re learning the basics or seeking to advance your skills, you’re in safe hands and you’re about to have a whole lot of fun!
DIVE MASTERS
Our friendly and knowledgeable dive guides are either local to the island or have worked numerous seasons in the Perhentians, bringing their intimate knowledge of the best dive spots, underwater topography, and unique marine life. They’ll lead you to hidden gems beneath the waves and help you spot everything from vibrant coral gardens to rare sea creatures while keeping safety as the top priority
BOAT CAPTAINS
Our bilingual captains have years of experience navigating local waters, ensuring that your journey is smooth, safe, and enjoyable. We prioritise your safety above all else. Our captains are well-trained in maritime safety protocols and are fully equipped with the necessary certifications. We adhere to the highest standards to ensure a worry-free and secure experience for all our guests.
